Payment Options
Your personalized care at Stewart Family Dentistry extends to the variety of payment options available. You can pay by cash, personal check, money order, and VISA/MasterCard. Payment is expected at the time of service. If you need more extensive dental care, you may want to make arrangements with CareCredit. They offer many flexible payment plans to meet all of your dental needs. Feel free to contact our office for more information on financing options.
Insurance
We accept most dental insurance programs. We are preferred providers with Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Guardian, Sunbit and Delta Dental Premier. We do not accept Medicaid and we are not part of any HMO or DHMO managed care network.
Our office staff will prepare all the necessary forms and submit them to your dental insurance carrier. However, please remember that you are responsible for your total financial obligation should your insurance benefits provide less coverage than you anticipate. Because of this, we strongly recommend that you confirm your benefits and coverage with your insurance company before your appointment at our office. Need extra help? We will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company, so you’ll know exactly what your benefits will be—just ask us.
The fees we charge for services rendered to clients with insurance are the usual and customary fees charged to all of our patients for similar services. Your insurance policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. Please be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. In addition, some companies take care of claims promptly, while others delay payment for several months.
